New York: United Nations together with the United Nations Children Affairs or UNICEF to fight AIDS. Cooperation which also involves a number of other international organizations is to produce a program called Children and AIDS.

As reported by NHK, recently, Children and AIDS program will highlight cases of transmission loss syndrome or AIDS, the immune system in children. Figures of AIDS transmission from mother to child reaches an alarming amount.

13 people killed in Mexico drug rehabilitation

Thirteen retirees were shot and killed late on Sunday in an execution-style massacre at a Mexican drug rehabilitation centre near the border city of Tijuana, a police official told AFP.

The exact reason for the killing was not immediately known but it was apparently linked to a brutal drug war that has claimed thousands of Mexican lives this year.
